Research Focus

Our group investigates the molecular mechanisms of G protein–coupled receptor (GPCR) signaling using biophysical and chemical biology approaches. We study how endogenous cellular membranes regulate signaling, focusing on receptor–lipid interactions and their effects on drug responses. A long-term goal is to develop small molecules that modulate receptor-lipid interactions to alter receptor activity. We also engineer and characterize protein–polymer conjugates to design biologics with improved stability and function. Together, these efforts bridge fundamental insights into cell signaling with translational applications in drug discovery and therapeutic development.
